How to open a clothing shop?


Clothing is a necessary commodity during our life. Different people wear different clothing everyday. Many people have more than 3 garments. And many people buy new clothing every week. Clothing is a large market in many places. So, that is why so many people open a clothing shop. Are you planning to open a clothing shop? Below 7 tips will be help you.

1.      Decide what styles of clothing you are going to sell: for example – adult’s garments, children’s garments, ladies garments, men’ garments, underwear…
2.      Find your clothing suppliers. We can get garments from clothing factories or clothing wholesale markets.
3.      Find a place for your shop. If you are going to open an actual clothing shop, then it is better to open your shop in a place many people will come, such as pedestrian street, shop near supper market… If you want to open an online clothing shop, then you need to consider should we build our own website, or sell one Ebay, Amazon…?
4.      Decorate your shop: whether you open an actual clothing shop, or have an online clothing shop, you need to decorate your shop. If you open an actual clothing shop, you need to have the clothes stands to hang the garments, and several models to wear clothing, mirror, if possible, get a fitting room in your shop so your customer can try the clothing and improve the buyers’ purchase wish. However, if you have an online clothing shop, then you need to get some nice and clear clothing pictures.
5.      When decorate our shop, meanwhile, we can import some clothing from our suppliers.
6.      To improve and attractive customers’ eyes, we can get some garment’s accessories in our shop. For example, if you will sell ladies clothing, then you can get some necklaces, belts… and decorative these garments accessories on the clothing.
7.      Have an easy-remember and suitable name for your shop. You can also make a charming name card for your shop, including shop’s address, contact details, and clothing. When customers come to your shop, whether he/she buy or not, providing your name-card. This will make your shop know by more people, and they will be potential buyers in future.
