Huaqiang Electronics World (HEW) was founded in 1998 on the North Huaqiang Road, a nationally renowned electronics street in Shenzhen. It is right now China’s largest professional integrated electronics trading market with the richest product categories.
The HEW is the second largest electronics trading center in Shenzhen, which mainly focuses on spare parts and second-hand electronics products, and is particularly famous for its second-hand computer trading market. The first floor is a market of electronics components; the second floor is for computer DIY and spare parts; third floor is a place for computer repairing and used spare parts, while people will go to the fourth floor for used desktops or laptops.
Opened in July, 1998, possessing a business area of 43,000 m2 with over 2800 stores and almost ten thousands of employees, the HEW is now a large scale market specialized in electronics and computers. With a guest-flow volume of about 50 to 100 thousand per day and annual revenue of 2 billion, it was honored as Provincial Civilized Market in 1999 and 2000 in sequence.
